God of Blood and Slaughter

The Birth of Azguraal:

The birth of Azguraal is a short tale. It is said that when Handur was born from the belly of an ox, the blood spilled was collected by Callaeyus. Wishing to have a child more like herself, Callayeus tricked Collanus into blessing the blood with her and giving rise to Azguraal. Azguraal was the worst of his parents made flesh. Strong, wicked and delighting in slaughter; his parents did what they could to restrain him. His destruction could not be hidden forever, and eventually Azgurall was discovered by the rest of the Gods. Thoroughly disturbed that one of their own could be so destructive, the first four Gods combined their powers to chain Azguraal. No longer could he directly influence worlds like the other Gods, Azguraal instead had to content himself with influencing events from afar.

Appearance:

Azguraal finds it incredibly hard to manifest for more than a few moments on Ianis and so descriptions of the Lord of Slaughter are few and far between. What does exist however describes a burning figure wrapped in bloody rags and chained, his face hidden from the world and his arms bound.

Temperament:

Azguraal is the insidious voice in the ear of a murderer. He is the slight push a king needs to kill his rivals. Azguraal is the secret desire of living things to crush and burn. Chained relatively early in his life, Azguraal spends his time attempting to influence mortals on Ianis. He will happily prey on weakness and insecurities and could be quite easily labeled as having absolutely zero morals.

Worship:

Almost nonexistent. There exist a few incredibly remote cults on the fringes of the land that seek to kill and maim wherever they go, but they are thankfully rare. The only consistent worship that Azguraal receives is from isolated individuals wishing for the strength to commit greater crimes.
