First Appearance: Episode 2

Warder The Water Warden, Warder to her friends, is the ranger with the responsibility of guarding the area of the Woeful Woods around Leafton. She was in possession of a cure for Mithras and after she was set upon by orcs, she warned our heroes about the impending invasion.

The Rangers of the Woeful Woods are an ancient organisation that keep their own laws and customs, considering it their sacred duty to patrol the woods for trouble. They often clash with the elves, but this does not stop them. Unfortunately for Warder one of their strongest customs is that women are not permitted to be patrolling rangers. Warders father however had no sons and was forced to pass his bow onto Warder.

Not that he minded, Warder is a strong woman with a keen mind for the forest and its dangers. Under her bearded disguise Warder has won more than one Rangers games and has guarded her section of the Woeful Woods for many years without incident. Until now.

When our heroes last left her, her identity had been exposed to the village of Leafton and she had made a pledge to our heroes to see them again. Whether the council of rangers will discover Warders duplicity remains to be seen.
